Gustav Klimt (born July 14, 1862 Baumgarten near Vienna) was an important Austrian painter living mainly in Vienna. He was one of the most important representatives of the Viennese Art Nouveau. The Kiss, Klimt's golden age masterpiece, is considered to be his most famous painting. This work is on display at the Belvedere Museum in Vienna.
